Description:

Another great sunrise session on the Central Florida Coast. The waves were knee to waist with occasional higher sets. At sunrise there were only four of us sharing the breaks, but by 7am the crowds started to arrive. The waves were a little choppy with the offshore winds coming in at about 10 knots. The waves came in a little disorganized but consistantly at about 9 seconds. All this lead to a day of fun rides of a medium length with occasional close out sets. What really made the day was the small group that showed up for dawn patrol and were friendly enough to share information on some great longboard breaks in the area...these guys know how to share the Aloha spirt. A big mahalo to all the old guys who remember what it's like to be the new surfer in the area.
