In fact two waves: 1 The african 'barre' up to 4 m deadly powerfull and closing out most of the time 2 inside the main banks some funny triangle shaped sandbars hols up to 1.2moffshore only on very early mornings (thermic windinversion) 5 to 8 AM...

surfing lagos - hi im from south africa and will be stationed in lagos for 2 months, does anybody have any tips on the surf up there? is it worht taking a board and what is the shark situation?any info will be appreciated thanks
