Hard to get to!!! Fly into Ethiopia and drive across northern Somalia. Muqdisho is not good to fly into and worse to drive through with surf boards on cars.

I wish I could surf there again. Too much violence in the country to even access. Access by boat is even more dangerous now with Piracy. I surfed it using boat access and saw nobody and so far don't think anybody else has surfed it. I was there in September and had a fun 2 days of surf before I headed south east to Shri Lanka on my boat.
Super fun. Wish I could go back

wrong name? - Somehow Pirights doesn't sound Somali either. How about "Waan Nolahey" (I'm alive!)

Mistitled - Whoever this guy Bill is, he is trying to name the best wave in all of Somali after himself. "Billsland" is incorrect and not how this wave will go down - this is Pirights (aka Cape Hafun North Side). Sorry Bill but just because you saw this spot on google earth doesn't give you the right to pin your name on the best wave in Somali, even if you have surfed it. I'm sick and tired of foreigners naming new spots after themselves. So get this one straight: "PIRIGHTS" [North side Cape Hafun]
