Conditions needed - Crayfish Factory only realy works during the winter when clean 16-18 sec. groundswell is running in a 10 - 25ft swell size. Best with a Light NW wind and a more Southerly swell direction.Dont paddle out on a small board (under a 8ft!) you will get worked. Has become quite crowded on resent and and has claimed a fair share of victims in its time. Handle with care and be surfing fit!

rates high - surfed the factory heaps in the old days and it got to be one of CT's best . Come to think of it it's better big wave than nearly all Oz . ..... nearly .... but then it's so consistent ..hhmmm

- dont even try this spot unless you have experience in big wave ya'll hear! You have been warned!
