New surf school in Hong Kong - There is a new surf school and shop opened in Sai Wan Tai Long Wan. They provide lessons and hire gear and are based in Big Wave Bay so could be useful to members of this site. Its called Surf Hong Kong. Kevin, the guy that runs it is a local Hong Kong surfer who has been surfing here for 10 years so can give you a heads up on most good surfing tips for surf.

hometown visit - A hometown visit is in order! Never looked up Hong Kong on here before and I have been on big wave bay when it was on, but waves were running so fast... literally just closeouts. I will fly in with my board next time I get a chance to go.... Haven't been for 10 years!

re: visitng HK - There is little surf this time of year in HK - unless a typhoon comes near. BWB has a variety of rental boards so that wouldn't be a prob. Note its been flat here for almost 3 weeks, as of this writing.

surf in hk 19/20dec07 - hello evrbdy,air france crew in hk 2 days long;are they boards for rent in sheko or tailong wan;really need for a fullsuit in dec?
