surf shoes?
In padang you don´t need them cause you paddle through the channel but in impossibles maybe yes. Try and see is the best I can tell you

surfshoes?
I was wondering if you need surfshoes at some of the breaks in Bali? In some of the videos see you people wearing them, because of the long trip over the reef to the break? Thanks for replying!!

padang padang surf camp
loved this place. Thought the guides were top notch. Gave m the confidence to get on waves that i wouldn't have dreamt of paddling for if i was out there by myself. I miss everything about the place , the food, the people and the waves. If you are heading over to Bali be sure to check this place out

Padang Padang surf camp
Hi just thought i would post a reply to the anonymous person who has written a comment about the surf camp, if you are going to give some where a bad report at least have the decency to put a name to it. Anyway i stayed there in November 2008. I scored great waves every day and I can put this down to the local knowledge of the camp owner and the surf guides that he has working for him. The food at the camp was all prepared daily from fresh local produce and of a very high standard, I can recommend the banana pancakes with fresh fruit salad. The rooms are clean and tidy and of a very high standard for a surf camp, The staff are all very friendly and helpful and made my stay there very enjoyable. I am returning to the camp later this year as i know many other people that I have kept in contact with since my stay there. So if you are looking for a great place to stay I can recommend this camp.

Padang Padang Surf camp
Hey guys i never got padang on this year , went there for 2 weeks but it wasnt big enough. I stayed in padang surf camp for the first time and this is why im writing this report and its to say , that i had a terrible time there bad surf guides who cant even surf all kooks and the owner a welsh kook andrew who thinks hes the main man in the bukit , he didnt even know what direction of swell ulu's worked on. The food was shitty the pool was good but just not my style when the surfcamp doesnt even know whats going on around there own area i would have prefered to stay in a shitty place and give a local guy some cash who knows what he's talking about. Im a dissapointed client who will never returned to that camp again.

padang fine
the ship at padang is broken up into tiny pieces so no real visible harm done . Its till the same insane ,scary wave ... at low tide that is .

wrecked
i bet padang's a piece of crap now that the taiwanese shipwreck screwed up the spot.

you can actually surf padang padang on the insides, the waves are much smaller and at mid-high tide it gets good
