- Surfed with the old man in Jawa in the late seventies. There were no surfers around at that time. Made many friends but most have passed away. I will talk the old man too come back to visit if I can get him of the lounge.
Good locals - Had great waves, locals frendly. Whole south coast Jave good you just need to look and ask. Food the best. PS good surfing from the old man

Cimaja - Cimaja is an under rated break. It can have intense board breaking power, and a heavy shore break on to the slippery boulders. It is absolutely not for beginners. There are some excellent local sufers who know the line up, Jerry, A Eidin, Suparman, Dede S. And Apik really shine. For a good contact there fin Iman, he is a honest guy. Surf shop contact Eiden at ESC Stay and eat at Cimaja Square, ask for Nora. Try to spend a bit of money, come on these people have few opportunities in life.
