Additional Surfing Infos
As can be seen from the photo Sandy Beach has a large headland, so it works best during large Southerly swell where it gets to large for some of the other beaches. Can get exceptionally long ride given the right conditions as the waves peal of the point and can be ridden some 300-400m back into the beach. Also hold a good left/right mid beach break. Does not usually break all that hard, nbut agin it depends on the swell
  Overview
Atmosphere Long paddle in a big surf but you can rock jump if your game (be careful)!.
General One of my favourite spots. great for mini mals in a 6-8ft swell. Had some of my best surfs here.
