Re K8 about urunga surf - what r u talking about secret beachs!, and lots of spots four experinced surfers. The only decent rock/reef break that holds up in 5ft plus is the third headland outer reef "Wankers" down the beach. It is a 20min paddle and breaks once every blue moon. U r right about hungry being good four begginers but not when their is 50 plus people crowding a ordaniry sand bank. Learn the facts before u query someones statement next time.

best - ok, i dont care wat ppl say Hungry head and another beach which im gona keep anonymous r really good! Hungry head is a really good start 4 beginers and there r lotz of beaches around the place 4 hard core surfers... the locals r really friendly & u should chek it out!

The truth - The river mouth is the most shark infested local driven piece of shit break on the whole coast. Just down the beach at hungry people get bashed and dropped in on every day plus abundent tiger shark population off the coast. The wave itself is very inconsistent often on shore and heaps of people swimming in summer. DO NOT visit this spot! Try Bundagen up the coast.
