wow - there was some french dude ripping on the Hawaiians. That guy probably just cant cut it. I had a blast down there, well we sailed in there on our own boat. There's a kinda secret spot off of ilse de pine. It's hard to get to and the channel has some ripping current which makes for bad anchoring. But the wave sucks up fast and throws out when it's big. I heard they tow in there when it's really big.

My trip - Third time i came in new caledonia for 10 days surf trip. Always wind early in the morning. The spots are crowded even by the SUP ! Very expensive ! And on first page of the news Scuba divers have seen white sharks ! Come back in France as soon as possible !!!

hazards - New calédonia's spots are very dangerous! There is no water under your foot, and the "electrical" reef is very dangerous for your skin... I've seen some big sharks in many spots! And its a really expensive trip, because every where you want surf, you need a boat! Beautiful place but not for surfning, i think ! I prefer Australia most safer and cheap...
