Puhnio's is a great A-frame wave with a steep take-off leading to a nice workable wall. Occasional tubes when the wind is strong offshore. Short bowly right...longer lefts.
A classic Taranaki wave breaking across a boulder reef with stunning views of Mt Taranaki from the water...
Taranaki reefs have often been compared to Southern California.
