WAAAAAY Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First surfed Soups in 1973. Stayed in the house overlooking the break. My buddy and I decided to surf Parlors. Big but not huge. Got outside! waited 20 minutes! BOOM, 8' 10 wave set. Learned a lot that day. Ahhhhh youth!!!!

i lost my board out there
it was soup bowl comp and i got bored of watching the comp 2005 so me friends and i went out parlor it was 12-15ft i cought this moster ave about 16ft i was scarde but me mates were screaming at me to go for it so i went for it i was too late.... i went over the falls my leash was not tighted on propally so it came off and i was about a 1/4 mile out to sea i was only nine so it was hard for me to swim in with 12-15ft luckly i knew how to body surf and it was big enough to swim with out fins after that i cant rember last i went there i always surf at sandy lane or when its flat i surf at brandons or tropicna

Usually as size gets bigger waves get more critical and harder to surf...not this one..as long as you can handle the increase in speeed this wave stays pretty fun above D overhead. Suits a longer board at smaller sizes.

Parlors Is Ok Except for...
Parlors is great especially for a left riding wave when you get bored of Soup Bowl. Not that it happens often!!! Be careful of the huge sets that come in...like the description says there is no channel and when the waves come in huge (20+ ft, locals report 50+) it's pretty freaky.

Parlers is definattly the place to surf if ...u have the balls too...and YES..to the 30 ft myth...ive asked the so called "mellow pot smoking locals"cuz i thought it was all shitsome were saying 35 but i think that was too much grass in the sytem..Guys thats why kelly slater only surfs at bowl next door..jokes..

Parlors
For anyone who wants to know, Parlors, (or Parlers, depends) can
get fucking HUGE. Like Duppies, its one of the premier big wave
spot in Barbados. If you get a macking swell, it can get 20-25ft, and my
uncle sez he has seen it ridden at 30ft. At that size, you cant
paddle out from the bay, you have to come around from the other side
of the point. Oh and the waves are so big, they wash over the road.
