Atmosphere |
La Libertad can be a dangerous town. There are many unsavory characters who are often armed. Thieves abound...but so does good food, cheap beer and excellent and consistent surf. Plus it is easy to get to for long 4 day weekends from the US. The Punta Roca restaurant offers excellent food and insider knowledge. Try to stick around your hotel and the restaurant area, especially at night. Other areas can be dangerous, use common sense and don't flash cash or jewlery. |

My Comments: awesome
Session Highlight: 1st wave 12 feet+ face, standup barrel for 200m. Many good waves. Last wave 12 feet face just missed going all the way in to La Paz.
