Try to get out of the wave before it brings you to deep water, current can lead you to open ocean.
Start at the point, ride it all the way into the island's beach.
it is a good place to spend the day surfing,
turtles come out often and you can see them.
they may be sharks in deep water but they never go near the reef.
Weekend vacation spot for Puerto Rico boaters. Beach is sensational. The break begins just off the point as it hits the ledge, breaking to the left. Powerful start, then a gentle giant of a wave as it wraps around the point into the beach. As you surf you can view the myriad colors of the coral as the water is clear as glass.
this is a nice place to surf ,clear water.
beware , the spot where the wave break is shallow water and then it changes to 16 ft deep water
and some sharks may be near.
Could set up camp there all winter.

Culebritas? - Place works only a few times a year. I live in Culebra, have only surfed it a handful of times. Better, more consistent waves in PR. Camping is prohibited, dont know where this kook saw sharks
