Surfing on Gran Canaria
Hi everyone!!
Me and my buddies just got back from Gran Canaria where we surfed with PR Surfing. We were thinking about doing one day but ended up with five!! They picked us up in the morning and then we went around the island looking for the best waves of the day. Everything was so good. A lot better than we expected, it was all about quality.
Quality boards, food and plenty of drinks, good transportation.. And we got some really sweet pictures that our coaches shot while we were surfing..

I highly recommend this surfschool for both beginners and more experienced surfers..

check out their homepage! www.prsurfing.com

maspalomas
left yesterday to cold danmark again ahd a few nice days in maspalomas, and a few nice waves in playa del hombre. would like to thank rob from the alohasurfshop in playa ingles for the info and the board i rented. had a great week. if you go to gran canaria visit the shop in the tropical shoppingcenter wich only opens in the evening.look at www.alohasurfgrancanaria.com for prices

LAS PALMAS BOARD RENTAL...
the only shop i found that rents surfboards is "Ocean Coast". their address is "Calle Almansa 14, Las Palmas (near La Cicer, the western part of Playa de las Canteras)". their phone number is "928-261-457". their website is "www.ocean-coast.com".

there are also several surf shops in the area with a great selection of new boards and a good selection of used boards. 200 euros will get you a decent used board, which is the about the same cost as flying with your own board or renting one for 10 days.
