K16 is an expensive place... and the boss could be more friendly!

little spanish wankers I surfed everywhere in the world, but never had this many problems with locals as at conquistador. The other spots it's no problem, but at this place the locals protect it with an annoying attitude. At conquistador I didn.t see any tourists, just a group of 20 little annoying spanish cockroches with a lot of noise and yelling and little repsect for anything which they don't no.

Desperate sponger. Hello there, was just wondering if there is any kind of wave action around late aug early sep? Read on the chart that they have 3 footers round this time of year, is it consistent round then? Also heard from somwhere that baggage handlers at the airport are'nt to kind to boards, how true is this? Can anyone out there please help me?

you can rent a board at K16, it's 50meters straight up the street from el conquistador, you can't miss it! I surf there in november 05 and the waves was really good and consisten. The locals are nice. But actualy it's not so many locals at this spot, when i was there it was mostly surf turist which was at the spot. But spanish left which lies straight north of this break are just for locals. The surf store K16 have also surf lessons. If you never had surf before, you really should take a lessons for 1-2 days so you learn MUCH faster and geth a lot more out of the time in the water!Peas from Norway! (miss tenerife, it's like 5 celcius in the water here now, and when i was at Tenerife it was around 23-24C. Was first time i surfed whit out wetsuit:)!)
