It's the best spot of the coast when it's big. If Lacanau is out of control (>2.5 m) come here. Always bigger in the water that it's seem out. Long and powerful waves, hollow tubes. It's a must.
There are several peaks but a long left at the left of the german bunkers seems to work often and regularly.
Strong Currents, be in a very good shape.

C'est le meilleur spot du coin quand c'est gros. Si Lacanau est à plus de 2.5 m venez ici. C'est toujours plus gros dans l'eau que depuis la plage. Des longs et puissants tubes bien creux. C'est un must.
Il y a plusieurs peaks et une longue gauche à gauche des bunkers Allemands semble marcher assez souvent.

Tubular - The swell was very long (12s period). Waves at le gurp were not big enough : only 1.20 - 1.50 m. But it was barreling !! Waves were very fast : the take off was hard because the peak was moving all the time. As they were nobody in the water, I made

Very good - The tide was high but I went to the south and found a very good peak. I was alone. I got very good hollow waves and a lot of rights which unusual on this spot. The surf was 150m long with big carves.  A very good session !

WAX & Pneus ... - Les pseudos locaux qui waxent les voitures et dégonflent les 4 pneus.
Ils savent pas caler un roller et se la pètent..
Et le pire c'est que je suis un "local"..
Mais le manque de tolérance de certains m'afflige..

encore les locaux - enfin...les 3-4 qui ont du mal à se placer et qui râlent parce que tu surfes à la régulière. Le seul moyen pour qu'ils prennent des vagues, c'est qu'ils ragassent ou qu'ils taxent ! marrant finalement :-)

pfff !!! - le probleme de ceux qui font les hots locals , c est qu ils voyages ..comment peut on oser surfer une autre vagues ou qu elle soit qu on est si con a la maison et qu on ne respecte pas les visiteurs .. que les gurpiens reste aux gurp , on leur laisse .. et tatabeach restera tatabeach
