hi my name is ollie i am from belgium,my friend and me took road trip to your beautiful country in autum for surf,great waves nice people but one day in southwest where we stay we went for to surf and when we come back some person stole the mirror off our volkswagon van whats up with that,later that afternoon one girl said to my friend she saw one man taking it she said he have the simlar van to me,so tell all the people whos come here to park where you can see,also the beach name was goulane so my friends beware,also for the man who took my glass im back in southwest now and have good report of you so we must talk

Save your marxist spiel for a blog. go surf some breaks on the east coast of the states, theres some awesome spots there picking up the atlantic swells before they cross and hit the irish coast.

Oh David It's Not That Bad....Yet
I'm from New Jersey too. And my message is.......take me with you, because it's getting worse by the minute. Hollywood stinks, Radio is horrible, I come home from the bar smelling like a Phillip Morris factory. I don't care whose gonna be "America's Next Top Model." And the only thing it seems our President is good at is going to Church. Jersey is ready to burst......hopefully I'll land in Ireland when it pops!

Help me. I live in a country full of cell phone using, SUV driving, "Friends" watching morons. Where's that you ask? The good ol' United States of America, that's where. This place is nothing but superficial, complacent fools. People here are obsessed with driving a bigger SUV than the next person. Keeping up with the Jones's. Shallow, shallow people that are becoming less intelligent, as a society in whole, day by day. We stand for nothing anymore. We have no fight in us no more. No spirit. We let our government walk all over us and nobody cares as long as they have their SUV, their Big Mac and an episode of "Freinds" is on the tele. I'm broke due to the fact that I spend all my money on crack,dope,weed etc. to deaden the senses to a country that is turning into a rap video/Jerry Springer show. I got to get out of here. Now. To make matters worse, I live on the east coast(New Jersey - love you but...) and I'm in serious need of some quality waves in a scenic setting.God, how I would love to smoke a bowl on an isolaterd stretch of coast, staring down the cliff at a reef peeling off flawlessly at six foot. The cold crisp wind at my back, dark moody clouds loom overhead, as I paddle out in perfection. Shit if you also threw a castle in the backgound that would make it all the more romantic. Surf untill I'm exhausted with that feeling only we know. The excitement and that feeling you have after a good session. The body tired but completely satisfied. Smoke another bowl on the drive back into town, then hit a colorful moody pub for some grinds and some pints. Oh, to talk to some genuine people. We have no culture where I live, and our history pales in comparision. I don't know if I'm so attracted to Ireland because I'm almost 100% Irish desent or just the plain genuine beauty of your country(mom - Conroy; maternal granny- Devennie; paternal granny McCafferty and my dad which blows the 100% Owens, mutt mixture of Irish and some other insignificant people). Someone adopt me please. America's done. We are experiencing the push to a two class society - the extremely wealthy and the desparate poor. See ya middle class. You're a dying institution in the U.S. Jobs are being outsourced to foreign countries at an exponential rate, sections of the economy such as manufacturing(which America used to prosper) are almost non-existent, and America hasn't been doing well in areas such as mathematics, sciences etc. when compared to other industrialized nations. Immigrants from Mexico and Central America flood the country giving greedy employers the opportunity to take decent paying jobs and give them to illegals at half the salary. Shit the only thing the U.S. thrives at is giving the world shitty entertainment(the crap movies Hollywood produces as of late and musical genuises such as Brittany Spears).If pop culture is any indication of a society - we are in deep shit. Any Irish girls out there want to take in a yank? I've got an accounting degree and am heading back for my masters but I also have a very wild, adventurous side. I'm an educated, articulate, Jeff Spicoli. Help.

i was visiting your country last for da last 3 weeks im from cali myself ,cant believe how beautiful your country is got some nice small waves can really see its potential especially da southwest i surfed a place on the dingle peninsula last week think it was called drainpipe,2 to 3ft glass just a few out long lefts short rights it lacked enough power for the 6ft board i had but there was this one guy out i can only put his style to that of micky dora he brings back a bit of the old style he was gettin super rides goin so fast on a longboard looked like he was surfin a shortboard i heard he was a local from tralee didnt meet him but just wantd 2 say keep it up man ur bringin back the style goin home 2day love your country guys hope to come back soon .steve

what a great place
Was there for the may bank holiday weekend and it was paradise for me. Waves were no more than 3 feet at most and there was a slack off/crossshore wind all weekend. amazing weather and good conditions made it a bit of a mill on monday but plenty of quiet parts if u walk. My favourite spot so far.

i was out on the same day, he was correct in saying it was glassy, perfect wind conditions, however the swell was so exaggerated as all longboarding dudes do, its was a foot, perfect for learning...
