boogerboy - Yeah amazing spot if you know what you're doing! Just gotta know the right time and where to go! Just to say... Got my first barrel there! thats how good it is! ps: not giving anything away findout for yourself!

Beautiful - I've been barrelled and barrelled and barrelled at Trevone. The person who posted "Trevone: OVERRATTED"... Learn to paddle dude!!! The place goes off and, as has been said, is TOP class when it works. Catch it low to mid tide on the push when Harlyn's at 3 foot and clean and you'll be looking at 5 foot plus perfection!!! My favourite UK wave for all sorts of reasons. To suggest Harlyn's the better option is just daft!

im here to help you make sense my friend - someone who doesnt live there sends in a photo of somewhere they dont live.......in other words, you answered yourself in your own question. In future if you intend to post rhetorical questions then you must still use a question mark. Im not having a go, merely pointing out the uselessness of your question and the grammatical incorrectness. take care anyway, but use more thought next time. thanks

Woah duuude - Trevone at 6-8ft. Hmmmm. I'm sure that happened mate! Keep dreaming. The reef holds 5ft at a push. You sound like the kinda guy who likes to exaggerate a wee-bit

padstow seal - i'd be on it if i didn't live fuckin miles away, you know how it is. the time i had it big it reminded me of padang or el quemao, if somewhat less perfect.. like you said, seriously heavy, but most cornish surfers aren't interested in seriously heavy waves (ALTHOUGH THEY DON'T LIKE TO ADMIT IT), which is why places like this mainly get sponged. even bossinney went through a phase of majority spongers, because it struck a lot of surfers as being 'on the limit'. having surfed boss since '81 i find that pretty tragic, but then i grew up surfing trebarwith, which is a beast and a half.one question - whats underneath the left - is it a bank or a slab. it sure felt like a slab when i got piled into it but i've checked it on flat days and it looks like sand. mysterious.... maybe some of that patented cornish concrete sand that boss has?looks like i won't get any grief off locals for takin potshots at this peak, so i'll make the effort this winter.

- More often than you think. Surfed it loads and pretty much everytime anyone comes out on a plank when it's over three-foot they go home with two halfs. Never seen anyone on it over five foot and I live locally.I find it strange that everybody in north cornwall seems to know about it, but still only a handful of guys ever paddle out. Bit like the box from what i can gather, alot of people talk a good surf but when it's pumping there's only a handful of guys there and they're usually punishing the sponge

secret jewel - i surfed this place a few times years ago and had it good a couple, and this place is definetely not overrated. i had a session on the juicy left at about 6-8. no one would paddle out with me and i pulverized two boards in three hours. backdoor, airdrop and ram your arm into the face and its a barrel on every wave.sicksicksick. hats off to the most backdoorable peak in cornwall and the guys that rip it. damn it hurts, but fuck man- what a barrel. does it pump like that often?

- you dont know what you're talking about
By Anonymous , 22-03-2005
Trevone: OVERATED - Talk about overated. The rip pushes you out, LOVELY... then carries you across the bay and pushes you back in towards shore just in time to get caught by the inevitable set!!! If you like paddling and duck diving then this is your spot. If you like to surf then try Harlyn or Constantine because Trevone really isn't worth the effort!!!
