Met Dorian Paskowitz for the first time & had a video interview with him at The Surfing Heritage Museum in St Clemente,California in July 2009.
He came with one of his sons, Joshua & we all spent some together talking about surfing in Israel, & all the locals we met there.
At 86 he is an energetic character & really a great guy. It was a pleasure meeting with him & had some good pictures taken.
May he continue his good work for many more years.

Surfed at Frischman Beach for the first time in 1966, nice little beach break! met all the "legends of the beach at that time",
Mike Mersand,Topsy, Ariah, Shaul, etc as mentioned in your article. In 1969 gave the guys a Surfboard made by John Whitmore in Cape Town (Drom Afrika" & subsequintly visited every year for another 14 years. A great vibe & always excellent coffee. See article www.topsea.co.il/derek jardine

I Read an article today in 'Surfer Magazine' on Dorian Pascovitz (Dr) & he`s still f.....g going-for-it @ 86 years old! Truly a 'Huwie'(Aussie surf language for Neptune)!!!All you Israeli surfers should know where your surfing heritage comes from - IT`S from the main-man DORIAN -(May Mega 'G' & Huwie bless him with perfect waves, perfect rides, long life, health & happiness!)
