Closest from surf spot from Dubai??
Just got to Dubai. My 7'4 on its way from South Africa in the next month.
Whats the closest spot for a wave coming from Dubai by road. Pick up my 4X4 this week.

Muscat surfers shout-out
Salaam alekum.I'm living in Muscat so that I can tap into some of the uncrowded points and reefs (and earn a bit of cash). Any serious surfers in the area who are thinking of a road trip to Sur/Al Ashkarah/Ras Al Hadd/Masirah/Salalah etc and want to share costs/have a laugh/someone to look out for sharks etc and get barreled, please e-mail. I've got a 6'2" fish, 6'2" shortboard and a 6'8" for the bigger stuff. Have you got a 4WD? I'm a trained lifeguard and learning Arabic.

Nobody as a surfboard beetwen 6' to 6'4 i am going to Oman in 10 days i cant find a surfboard i live in america for 10 years and i left my last one there!!!!
