look for the big wave shaped hotel or the really tall one on a man made island and go in that direction. alternatively ask some one were it is and they will tell you.

the only bad thing about it is that you have to surf it prone or drop knee, if you stand the life guards get pissed off.
also it is crowed at weekends. im not to sure about the weekdays. i said it was a sandy bottom but thats because plastic was not an option.
you can get a ride for more than two minutes here on any day and the paddle out is really easy, you will be amazed. no surfboards are alowed on the wave so if you want to surf you will have to go somewhere else.
the wave is good every day of the year and it works on any swell and any wind direction.
so dont be put of by the fact that most people think that dubai dosent have waves.
kelly slater was one famous surfer, of many, to come out for the event that was held out here last year.
check out our site. its www.surfingdubai.org
i dont like it as much as the bodyboards do because i surf but its still an amazing wave.

I you can experience it ... - Of course, this is very different from riding real waves. But you can have fun there and learning curve is very short since you can manage to ride the flowrider wave every 5 minutes (maybe I was lucky that day ...)Most of lifegards are cool and they often show you tips and figures to practice during your ride.Wipe out are also very funny. However, you are not allowed to stand up on the wild wadi bodyboard but you can have fun with drop knee.Great experience !!

Wild Wadi - It looks awesome! But what is it? Is it a wave-wall built in the sea? Is it a super-high-tech wave-pool? Please somebody put-me-out-of-my-agony, what is it?
