Notoriously localized by a crew that all know each other. Keep a low profile, walk softly and carry a big stick. Park your car blocks away, or have someone stay with the car.

It's a very scenic and peaceful place, but it is important to respect the area. Don't litter or steal. The waves can get epic, and will hold just about any size swell. The locals are pretty cool, if they like you. Just watch yourself.. if you don't look familiar, you are sure to get hassled.
