Hostile? I was only offering you some constructive criticsm Deango-moe; only you're still too young to get that yet. Soon you'll turn 21, get yourself some Beck's beer to chill out with hopefully, & maybe get a girl to help rid you of that annoying anal-homoe attitude toward surfers who've been riding waves here longer than you've been alive. At 53 years of age now I still manage to take a crap the regular way, just like you should, so you can eat mine once we've met; whilst I surf circles around your whiney butt!! Wake up & spend more of your time gettin' them hottie college girls to date you while you still can bro; you'll see how that'll be as fun as surfing ever was Dean!!!

Ok SD Bingo, you are dead wrong. First of all my name is Dean, one of my favorite surfers (Dean Morrison) has a nickname "Dingo", he's from Australia, if you didn't already know. Secondly I am actually not a middle aged man who works all the time, I'm actually 20 years old, surf all the time, I don't work, and I am a full time student. You on the other hand have bingo in your display name, this begs the question are you a old fart in the Remmington Club in RB that enjoys playing Bingo, critizing random people online, and probably eats a lot of prunes and enjoys his morning bowel movement. You are a complete jerk, I am helping others by giving descriptive observations that I have made in the past. You can take what I say about the river mouth and think whatever you want about it. But you have no reason to be hostile bro. BTW maybe I am a little anal, but thats my Kraut side showing through, and hey Germans make some of the best things in the world because of it, so shove it.

It's like this Deango:
An australian wild dog is a Dingo.
You, however, think you're a Deango.
The only place you really get to 'go' to lately is your place of work.
Clearly you posess a modicum of intelligence; perhaps a bit more than average.
Once upon a time in your life, most likely when you were younger, surfing was your focus.
Now that the closest you get is whilst detouring along PCH during your regular commute thru SD county, you'll get to 'check it' on the fly, so you've begun to 'overanalyze' the surf; pretty much to the point were you've become ANAL about it.
BRO: Be happy with what you've had, & happy with what you CAN get. If you still catch an occasional good day, then stop bragging about what you think you know about surfing, just be grateful for paddling out at all. Because you may NEVER see perfectly peeling, head high + 1/4 Del mar rivermouth again; it only looked like it was 'all that' on 1 of your fly-by checks there anyway!
