Additional Surfing Infos
if you love rights this is the place for you. if you are close enough to the drainage pipe you will get a right all the time other then that you may catch a right sholder but dont ride it for too long or it is into a big nasty drainage pipe for you. also keep in mind this spot is not surf only this spot has its shares of bodyboaders and bodysurfers so if you think it is just gonna be you and your stick you are in for a rude awakening.
  Overview
Atmosphere this spot is pretty awsome. the locals there can either humble and kind or cut you off drop in on you call you a cook whatever.....but everyone is always normally stoked out in the water if the locals see you catch a nice wave they'll cheer you on.
General this spot is pretty nice with a nice offshore wind or maybe a little s.w wind you can get really covered up on a good chest++ day. dont hit it a dead high tide or it will be mostly shorebeak on a waist high day anything over that is ok but normally the incoming tide brings the best swell

Very inconsistent. Much better and more consistent surf a few miles south in south long branch or deal. Some of the locals rip, and will claim the place on good days. When it's not all time, you'll get some waves, but when it is, the locals have it wired and totally rule the place. They're generally mellow dudes, but don't paddle out thinking you can sit on the peak. They'll put you in your place without hesitation.

Aggressive my butt
I have had the privelge to ride the pipe for almost 6 years now and the bodyboarders are localized but most of them are little high school kids like yourself. Its not that scary if you 25 and bigger than all of them. Also there are different sections at that spot so you have some waves to choose from
