	Saquarema islocated 100 km from Rio de Janeiro. Daily Bus schedule: Rio de Janeiro to Saquarema Auto Viação 1001 BUS Co. Bus ticket R$ 16 reais / US$ 7 dollars (Trip time 1:45 h) 7:30 - 9:30 - 11:30 - 13:30 - 15:30 - 16:30 - 17:30 - 19:00 - 20:40 IMPORTANT: Saquarema is NOT the last stop. Bus passes first at Jacone, Saquarema and Araruama (Get off the Bus in front of the shopping center/police station 100 meters after city's bridge.)

	Saquarema is located on the lakes’ region between the tropical forest, lakes & ocean... only 100 km from Rio and known as 'the capital' of surf in Brazil. A half way to Búzios, 50 minutes to Cabo Frio and 1 hour to Arraial do Cabo (diving spot). On weekends Saquarema is the destination for cariocas looking for relaxation, excellent seafood, perfect waves, amazing empty beaches and one of the most beautiful sunsets on earth, all only 100 mts away at Itaúna Beach. It is a very safe town and the locals will make you feel so welcome that it will be hard to leave.
