Surf in July - I went to Geriba 10 days on July. Nice waves all days, between 3 and 5ft. Sometimes the waves are really fast and not very surfeable, but it's a nice point. When conditions are good the wave is really long and nice, with tubes. The wind onshore or cross shore wind sometimes hits bad the beach. I recommend surfing during the morning.
Locals didnt seem to be heavy, the normal localism, if you respect they respect. No more than 20 people in the water.
Buzios it's a very nice and quiet place, really good food!!
waves - hitted geriba a week ago , incredible girls , very nice and respectfull people, and nice waves in geriba!
Laje rasa - Hey ! does anyone knows a wave in buzios called laje rasa ? you can get there by boat or swiming
Buzios in March - Anyone know what the surf in Buzios is like in March? Looking for the best region in Brazil for surf in March. Any feedback would be appreciated~!

Night Life - Oh man, forget about Geribá and HIT the Night in Búzios!!! The most beatifull girls ever at "rua das pedras". Dont worry with surf, get drunk and nasty, next day surf on sunset that is great as the morning. By the way dont forget to drink "CAPETA" this shit let you up the hole night, and dancing!!!!!
- i wouldnt bother surfing in buzios... the waves don't justify bothering with it when there are so many perfect 10's around begging for some poleaxe!
surf it! - hi im a young bodyboarder from argentina , i surf Geriba (like 4 or 5 ft) lefts on the left side of the beach, the right was much better but it was full of locals so i ride the left wich was uncrowded. perfect long lefts (better for surfing i recon) with nice big tubes , but i like way more "Praia brava" beach in buzios , a very fun left hand wedge , short but intense and uncrowded on morning , locals are nice people if you respect them of course. And buzios...its a dream place i like it a lot.
