 Access

it takes 40min walk - access is not too easy! - check out a bar in Whitianga and ask the local (surfer looking) ones. They will tell the way to this exquisetely beach -(maybe this information will cost a couple of LION REDS but no worries - that is even the same fun for you

a great beach - One of the most amazing beaches on the Coro - and yes, like all coro beaches, it might not be the most consistant spot on earth, but in the right swell it can pump. It is also one of the more pushier beachies on the Coro - short, hollow and sweet on a good day. Surf it on the lower tide on a nth, ne, or big east swell. offshore in a sw wind. definatly worth checking out if you are in whangapoa and the banks arn't looking good there - it is usually about a third bigger at new chums as well.

Storm swell - Surfed it this year in a 4m storm swell was a 20 minute paddle out per ride breaking onto the bottom, no chance of duckdiving but mananged to air drop some big closeouts and get the beating of my life. Just a shame by the sounds of it, it was so messy.
