Thanks - I am heading to Qatar in February and wondered if anybody knows if you need to buy a car to travel to the surf spots (around Geek Meds)or is public transport also an option?

Surfing in Qatar - I've been around a year but I haven't seen a real wave so far ... I like to think that is just a matter of bad timing. Anyone has some info about surfing in Qatar?
