 Other Islands

Seychelles

The "other islands" have very similar surf as almost all of them are coral-reef islands. Most the small islands to the South West are not great for surfing as the reefs are either too shallow or too deep. Waves are very fickle and a subject to change during times of winds. Coetivy Island a relatively 'new' discovery in terms of surfing has probably the largest and most powerful waves, while islands in the Farquhar Group have waves that are virtually non existent and inconsistent.

The outer islands of Seychelles do not offer much variation as the breaks are all coral. Sick waves though. Watch out for travelling expenses as boat trips can be expensive.

NICE TRY - OK, this is ridiculous. These photos are NOT from anywhere in Seychelles and it is really lame how somebody tries to fool everyone else by posting bogus pics on this website. enough is enough. kooks need to beat it.
