- We use to call it "the quarry" and surfed it weekly from '85 up to '91. Works best on a 4 to 5 ft swell on lowtide with south easter blowing. It breaks on a rock slab with a nice peak but the left is the best option. Anything over 6 foot is not worth it as it pushes you onto the rocks infront of the stone quarry before you get to enjoy the ride. On lowtide it gets super hollow and it is such a waist that only about 4 guys have ever surfed it at its best or that it has not been surfed in the last few years. Glad im one of the lucky few.

- Hear its a good wave on the right conditions, but why is the pic of a right, if it's called Madiba's left???

- this wave is sick. Bottom line, and you can get away with surfing here if u have a brain! Else leave it to me and my mates!!
