Long streching beach in which the town borders.
Atmosphere
Margate Beach is far too busy in the holiday season (nov/dec) and posers from jozi come down and cant surf but claim too. So come out of season and you'll enjoy.
General
Busy vibe within the town in the holiday season but out of season this place cranks. The morning wave is the best form 5:00 to 7:00.
