It is hard to find it as there is no road. You can walk on the beach from habushiura (very, very long). Or go to the south of the island. the difficulty is to find the path to go down the cliffs. - Localism
This a spot that locals love. The swell if often bigger then the other places. In case of a lack of waves, come here. It is a very beautiful and wild place. The surf is not as hollow as Habushiura but waves are longer. It can hold bigger swells.
Take water with you during the summer.

Secret - I dont think it is supposed to be a secret. It was the only place with a swell when I was there. Stay at the camp ground and rent a bike on the Island. Good times.

Golden Week - This year (2005) there were a lot more surfers here than Ive ever seen. We hit secrets at 5am one morning and there were already over 25 people out! When it gets big here there are lots of "watchers" so theres plenty of waves for the brave. Its a great spot but if its cross shore head up to AWAII at low tide. Its totally sheltered from everything other than a direct onshore.

Not Secret - This spot is uncrowded mid week outside school holidays. Pick a weekend with swell and especially a holiday weekend and you can expect upwards of 100 surfers here.Go the extra and get to Hachijojima...the waves are uncrowded and much better
