Turn of the Pacific Highway about 18km North Coffs Harbour into Sandy Beach (follow the signs to sandy beach) Drive right down to the Southern Car park. you will have to walk over the dunes to get there but worth a lot in the right conditions. locals - back sandy is for locals only...ok. any blow in's that come our way can surf main beach. In extreme cases e.g a blow in that drops in. Your can expect a windscreen waxing. STAY OUT
