most of the time this spot aint to good but keep an eye out for it when theres a bit of sand aound. Its a great wave for beginers to because unlike the rest of Byron you haven't got the crowd to dodge and on a smaller swell the waves get softer making it great for the beginers
Atmosphere
Belongil is an excellent wave to go when you wanna get away from the crowds of Byron. So keep an eye on it whens theres sand around
General
this is such a great spot because most people don't even think about going for a wave there. But Belongil can provide some great uncrowded fun little waves given the right banks and swell.

pffff - i grew up here and it used to be alot less crowded, it is way too crap to hold a crowd but like anywhere it has its day (and i mean like 1 or 2 a year!) if you dont believe me then see for yourself, hardly any S swell gets in (even E strange enough). and it closes out on N swells so, well its crap.

- This place went off on the 25/3/05 no one out 5ft close outs super shallow super heavy sik ramps scored. not one stand up out that day heaven
