drive to Gerroa and get onto Stafford Street heading towards Black Head. About 20 metres before the car park at black head there is a footpath. Go down the footpath and you will see the spot off the rocks to your left. Jump off the rocks and paddle out. I have surfed Chips a couple of times and every time it has been fantastic, and never very crowded (although this may have changed over the years)

- chips is one of the best surf spot i have ever been to it has same of the best waves on the south coast all u need to now to surf chips is how to doge rock and now how to paddle on to the waves and pull in to the barrle!!!!

outer reef bombie? - whats the crazy outer reef bombie called (the one of black head, fair paddle out is normally breaking really big?)

- Im guessin u never been there when its been good then. everwhere has its crap days. When chips is on its crackin!! 6ft is prob best size on SE swell. it just rolls down the point and has few barrel sections. Dont bag it until u have it good.
