Talk to the locals to make a few friends, then when you've got 3-4 locals on your side, your basically a local yourself.
Atmosphere
This break breaks about once to twice a month, but when it does, you should be waiting to get out there, cause it breaks for about 3-4 days a month, and watch for the rips and currents, they can be the difference between a good surf, and a tiring surf.

just admit it - it may only happen once a year but when the swell gets big this place goes off and u only hav to look at the pix to know its true

roy` - ur a loser! learn 2 type or speek or sumfin u kook! oz lives @ alley. sure, roy works on its day...but its day only comes about once a year n it gets more crouded than manly in summer. the kick is pretty fun, but tame as freshie and dont talk up white rock...its a boring inconsistent wave that makes u feel like ur surfin in shit! roy is balls...peace
