Watch out - What a hole of a spot. Straight handers, usually so weak but can only handle 2ft before it's closing out. Not crowded but one old guy that paddles like he has an outboard under him and hungry as a 10yo grom. If he is there you will not get a wave. Also don't leave your mrs or daughter on the beach while you surf as there is a Greek guy that surfs and tunes up all the women. She will be leaving in his van, you have been warned!!! True about the sharks too, all in all plenty of better spots. Point, alley and wall are the best spots to surf go there

Great, uncrowded waves!! - I'm from the UK but learnt to surf in Cronulla for about 6 months. The main beach breaks (Alley, Wall, Elouera ect) are great but often very corwded, esp at weekends. However, Greenhills has some excellent banks which are hardly ever crowded, mainly cos most people can't be bothered to walk around. In the right conditions its so worth it tho, with quiet, secluded spots that make you feel like your on a surf trip abroad! My favourite is 'Three Banks' which is where the no entry sign is where cars coming from Voodoo park. Its has 3 banks close together which produce great waves and a really long left off the middle one!Go see for yourself and check the other great spots along the way!
