The atmosphere is calm, familys always go to this beach in the summer, but they dont be surfing, maybe just sponging the shore-break. Forget it if your a shortboarder, this wave is longboards only but perfect for that. It can be an easy calm ride if you want but it has a large, makeable section for those with the skill, that will extend the ride double the length.

I love the spot but most will proly dismiss it as pussy and boring. If its a W swell and over about 6ft ths place will work but works on a E swell of any size over 3ft. When its huge and blown out on the open beaches this place will be firing. Also if its the right size and swell direction and theres recently been a big storm thats dumped a load of sand in the area, walk another 50m around the point and a nice hollow little left can sometimes be working, careful though coz it closes out on the beach here.
