This spot absolutley rocks for boogers, and very experienced surfers. Most crowded I've seen it is 5 people including myself.

- I was just up in Kalbarri for four days and I went for a surf at Lopes on Monday morning and it was at least head and a half barrels. I pulled into one of the sets and got pitted for a while and came out just before it closed out. I got sucked back onto the reef and I have to say it didn't hurt at all.

lopes - was sooo good when i was in kalbarri in july 06' but the problem is a massive rip. cos jakes is out back all water is goin north across wave which means mental paddling the whole time your surfin it. better to catch wave come in then walk around and jump back out.
