Ali Macpherson - Ali is the best surfer i have ever seen at Melros. He takes the place to pieces!! Just watch out if he has all his bum buddies hanging around in the line up with him, as sometimes they get a little horny with each other!
If you do see him out there, ask about his arse hair to head transplant he has been working on!

Darbs - Us real locals call the place Hellros or Swellros...
It's ok but there is far better waves in the area, The point, Macca's Right, Macca's Left, Macca's closeout and Cosies... Cosies is the one!! I've heard Ian Wooly Mac claim it has bigger and better barrels than the Bluff and I'm backing him.. Yeh Crew!!!

Ali Rips - I haven't seen Ali Mac out at the Ros for atleast ten years... He's an Indo legend these days and only surfs when it's over 12ft. He was the man out at the Ros though through his days as a Pro-junior 96-99... Can still picture him now with his hairy nose and see through nipples doing the hot potato all the way to the beach. Then paddling back out and saying "Position is posession" "Focus" and "Tom Carrol would be a dead set Kook if he didn't rush it"
