It can only be surfed when the swell(not wind swell -actual base swell)is Nw and massive and the tide is low and the wind is nil. Watch out for boats and those pesky stingrays.Wear bright clothing. Oh, and watch out for out-going tides, you dont want to end up in cookstrait. You can work out where the channel is by lining up the two triangles on the hill.
