fun wave - barrels hardout behind the breakwater bt ul have to get whipped n2 thm by a jetski without gettin smashd against the breakwater.surfd it a year ago its a mission gettin there da quikest way wud b paddling frm the ova breakwater.i surfd it and the take-off was onshore thn the wave wud wrapped around and it wud b offshore,the wave wud hav a lil barrel section at the end

- this wave can be good on its day, you sit right on the end of the breakwater catch the the mushy on shore swell and wait till it swings around the breakwater hitting the sand bar and then the west southwest off shore wind will produce a very sucky little barrel until it hits the deep water. always looks small from ngamotu,dont think any body can be botherd with it though

break water - goes off in huge storm swells a few times a year.when its on you could fit a big mac truck in the barrel.this is a serously big wave,and so fast i doubt its ever been ridden at size even using tow ins.
