Access from the beach on the right side of the pier. Follow the side of the pier, with strong SW winds, paddle within 1 metre from the pier otherwise the current will get you into the whitewash
Park near the beach, SW wind surf the right side of the pier, holds the most ends when its flat all over Belgium this is the place to visit
Nice, fun for a local break, good acces, works well, best break on coast; take shelter from SW on right side and otherwise on left side of the pier
Respect the local surfers. Park your car in the street in front of the pier. Strong current next to the pier. There is a cool surfclub under the pier. In summer you have beachsports, watersports and beachparty's. With perfect conditions one of the best spots in Belgium.

Zegt dat de Stefmeister't éét gezeit - We love surfing, we love our Northsea, who cares what other people think. Yea! your dick is real small when you get in water that's 4°C but hey, surfing when it's snowing is fun too. Even just sitting on my surfboard watching the sun come up from behind the dunes makes me feel real good, and if it feels good, it can never be wrong...

suits me fine - all my life i wanted to surfwhen i got married i finally learnt.. in Bali of all placesbut I live in belgium, not bali and I can honestly say that i love this break at blakenbergevery time i spend a weekend i go to the coast and everytime i check it out at high tideyes i am disappointed when 50% of the summer time is impossibly flat for me, but when its up i'm in and when i'm in i'm happy and that's what countssee you there!
