Praia da Falésia is a 6 km sandy beach situated between the towns of Albufeira and Quarteira. There is a car park situated at the top of the cliffs overlooking the steps leading down to the beach. A day on the Praia da Falésia can seem almost lonely, even in August, as the bathers are scattered over a wide area. There are several restaurants, a playground for children and a variety of other leisure facilities. - I will be one week in december in the pine cliff resort and I consider to bring my 7.9 malibu.I'm a beginner, so I really dont know if I can ride the waves in Falesia. The pics look nice and surfable for me, but in the spot characteristics they say it's a spot for experienced surfersThanks florian

You what?? - Been to the Algarve on and off for the last 20 years...The best wave in the Algarve?? I don't think so..It's fun yes, but take a trip down the coast to Zavial or Sagres for much better waves.....This beach is better for windsurfing than surfing...
