Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): this place is pretty sheltered so forget about surfing here unless a huge swell hits. Expect North wind throught most of the winter, so chances are if it's working it's bound to be offshore. Most of the swell received by portugal comes between the East and the West which wouldn't seem very appropriate but if it's get insane (and it does) you can usually come here and take a smaller and cleaner dose.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Considering how many people surf in carcavelos and how few surf here it's great. You usually get a small group of surfers here, but as long as you don't be a macho fuck you'll be ok.

long boarder wave. - This needs a big swell and it's seems better from the car park than it usually is. It's a long boarders waves. Very slow.

Chill wave - I seems rare to find a good day to ride this break, but I spent one day catching a few fast hollow rights and two that brought me almost all the way into shore. Its a bit finicky. If you want to chill out there is no crowd.

Actually... - Parede is a pretty fickle wave. If the swell direction ain't right, most sets will section out in front of you leaving you with little wall space to work with. On top of that, the tide window is pretty small: Either side of this small window (i'd say about 2 hrs max) the wave either gets too fat or closes out. On the other hand, get a nice session here and you'll be carrying a silly grin on your face for days!
