English (Traducir este texto en Español): Always something to surf here. The beach is large and has several points of access. A lot of peaks up and down the beach, so look for whatever is working when you're there.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Good waves on S end at low tide beside lighthouse when rest of coast is too big (8ft+). Useful channel to the left.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Valdoviño is one of the most dangerous beachs in the region due to REALLY BAD RIPS.(when over 5ft) You may find yourself taking a tour up the Galician coastline if you surf the N end. Headland, past hotel up the coast offers excellent view of unsurfable right hander. Have seen it at 8 metres. Biggest wave I have ever seen!!!<br />Have seen N end of beach 12ft+ and S end beside lighthouse is a nice 4ft. THE place to go when its huge(nearly all the time in Winter)

seeker surf camp is on this beach - I love it, the boys cook up a good meal and we wake up overlooking the break. Sometime a bit big but the area has good options for different wind. See ya!

Great beach, beautiful views - We surfed this beach two days in June 2017, once in great weather and once in the rain. Both days saw really consistent waves, nice swells, and really long breaks. As a more experienced surfer, my friend caught the bigger waves further out, and as a beginner, I caught good smaller waves closer to shore. It's pretty shallow here, so you can save your arms when the waves migrate and you can't use the rip on the left. There's a surf school that uses this beach, but that was the only time it was semi-crowded. But the beach is so long and the waves are so consistent that everyone had space. I loved the chill atmosphere and the view from the parking lot above the beach over the whole coast. It was gorgeous and I'd definitely recommend. (Just so you know: When you drive into the city, you'll see the beautifully violent part of the beach that you can't surf. Take the turnoff to the lighthouse, and you'll find the parking lot and surf beach there.)
