The reef looks a lot worse than it actually is. The right handers are normally the better shaped side to the wave. Choose a neap tide, works best on a 2 metre swell, try the low water bowl if you feel daring.
Atmosphere
Jersey is the major surf spot of the Channel Islands, but it has the crowds to go with it, for enjoyment nearby Normandy and Brittany beaches in France would prove more interesting to the dedicated surfer without the crowds. Summer can have long flat spells

When the autumn swells hit it can be awesome with 3 metre plus rideable waves

- Is it European Juniors - or European adults as well? Shit the kids might be alright but the adults aren't gonna believe their eyes - how embarassing!!!
