Henrik - Depending on where you flying from leave booking flights til last minute and keep an eye on the swell. generally september can be a good month for surf and considering this flat summer (bar about 5 good days since july) it should have some decent waves. if you see 4+ at around 10 secs on the wave bouys then it will have a good wave providing its not too onshore. last sept i went in on a 5ft offshore conditions, was bliss, surfed intil the lead arms kicked in then spend 15 mons tryin to get out as the tide was punding the wall and backwashing.you will enjoy it if you come providng you dont go in on a busy weekend.

Jersey-Watersplash - This place has a real nostalgic significance for me. In 1962 I just happened to visit here when the British Surfing Championships were going-on. Guys paddling out kneeling on their longboards, 'drop-knee turns', 'hang-5`s', 'hang-10`s', 'walking-the-board', 'Quasimodos', 'shooting-the-curl', 'kick-outs' - I was fascinated & enthralled, it was orgasmic!! That`s when the surfing 'bug' hit me! (Also saw my first skateboard there). Thanx 'Neptune'/Jersey for introducing me to my 'life`s-love' for the last 44years!
