12 foot drop in! - Surfers often talk about the outrageous 12ft drop in at 'hollows'. However, don't get too excited as this only happens when you and your surfboard get blown off the walkway into the sea by the storm force winds required to produce a 2ft wave.

- On a good day this is the best wave anywhere in the Brighton area. However it is not fast or powerful. It's a very slow pretty weak longboarders wave - but almost always nice and clean, with the prevailing SW winds being deflected offshore in this small channel.
